Third Thursday createDATE: Dancing in Color
6:30-8:00pm

Wuzee (wu zi, a dancer's aura and energy), Tufts' only Chinese fusion dance team, will co-host this kinesthetic createDATE. Through performance of Chinese dance, Wuzee strives to spread the appreciation of Chinese culture to the Tufts community. Yuan Yunsheng's mural, Ancient Chinese Tales—Blue + Red + Yellow = White?combines a modern narrative with elements from folklores and mythology. Similarly, Wuzee combines a variety of traditional dance styles with contemporary elements. Wuzee will showcase a folk dance, followed by a traditional sleeve dance teach-in (participation is optional, but encouraged). Prepare for a colorful feast for the eyes.
