In Between is an experimental 16mm short film written, directed, produced, and edited by the artist.  Exploring notions of violence, love, loss and repression, In Between
utilizes a strategy of metaphoric and pictorial storytelling that breaks down the traditional dichotomies of internal/external, imaginary/real, abstract/concrete, and mental/physical.  The composition of imagery in the film creates a highly stylized surrealist landscape evoking the mental space of memory, dream and fantasy.

Jack W Schneider’s paintings and installations inhabit a world where material meanings and popular culture metaphors have exhausted themselves, where only the sheathing of the originals remains. High and low design come together in a manner that debases one another leaving only the abject production of layered signifiers. His paintings contain deliberately ambiguous art historical references, the achievements of late Modernism are imbricated with popular culture designs and marketing.

Solo exhibitions of paintings by two invented artists are presented by Ying-Huei Wu: Milou Deville, a French feminist artist and activist, and Bruce Wu, a Kung Fu movie star who went on to become a painter after his retirement from the film industry.  Two invented artists and their unique subjects and life stories create compelling narratives and synthesize distinct styles and conceptual approaches.
